Tenth bolgia,
falsifiers: alchemists: the Aretine---vanity of the Sienese---Capocchio

Summary:
Dante
stayed too long to talk to the soul in the ninth bolgia. Virgil reprimanded him
and reminded him that they had to continue their journey. They talked about Dante’s kinsman who
died unavenged. And
then they went to the tenth bolgia which is for falsifiers. Dante talked to two
Italians. He said he would tell people their names after he goes back to his
world if they told him their stories. One of them is from Arezzo

They heaped
together. There were scabs all over their bodies. They could not control the
great rage of the itch so they kept scratching themselves with their
fingernails. .
